Architectural inspiration has long been a source of inspiration in design and so naturally we turned to the past when designing the stacking chair of the future. For the Galleria Collection, we focused on a number of the most notable architectural periods including Greek Revival, Mid-Century Modern, Federal as well as present day, contemporary architecture. Iconic shapes from each era were selected for the back of each chair providing each with it’s own, unique identity. The base of the chair is simple and streamlined and includes the expertly engineered FlexForm seat construction that Mity has become known for in the hospitality industry.
