Established in 2009, Avenue Interior Design is an internationally recognized, award-winning design studio based in Los Angeles. Under the direction of founders Andrea DeRosa and Ashley Justman, the studio partners with boutique brands, corporate giants and inspired individuals to create compelling, influential, brand identities. Collaborative culture is at the core of our methodology and each project is managed meticulously by experienced professionals.

In addition to first time hoteliers and private developers, Avenue Interior Design is proud to include Montage, Dakota Development, Ennismore, sbe, MGM Resorts International, Kolter, Station Casinos, Hilton and Marriott International as clientele amongst others. The studio provides interior design for residential, high-end multi-family, luxury condominium, resort, hotel, restaurant, lounge, spa and retail properties domestically and abroad. The studio and its projects are frequently recognized in regional and national publications including Hospitality Design, SLEEPER, Interior Design, Vogue, Forbes, Travel + Leisure, Angeleno, RUE, California Home + Design, and many others.

Avenue Interior Design offers comprehensive, full-service interior design services for the residential and hospitality market. Select specialty services include concept generation, custom furniture design, textile and carpet design and art curation. Founders & Team

Andrea Derosa

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Interior Design, Andrea relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in hospitality. She quickly joined the team of a notable design firm and was immersed into the world of hotel and resort interior design. Shortly thereafter, Andrea met fellow designer Ashley Justman, and quickly recognized their shared entrepreneurial intentions and passion for design. Each went on to gain additional experience, with Andrea landing at a prominent design firm specializing in casino and hospitality venues.

In 2009, Andrea and Ashley established Avenue Interior Design focusing on boutique hotel and restaurant design. Within months, they had secured pivotal scopes of work, setting the studio into motion and laying the foundation for all projects to follow.

Andrea’s focus as Chief Executive Officer includes strategic planning, operational management and public relations.

Ashley Justman

CO-FOUNDER & CCO

Ashley hails from a century long lineage of creativity deeply rooted in the Hollywood film industry. The influence of her past relative’s success in film production, direction, screenwriting and composing, along with her set decorator and costumer parents have heavily shaped her own creative endeavors.

While studying Interior Design at UCLA, Ashley joined a boutique interior design firm designing 4 and 5 star hospitality properties. Later, Ashley joined the team at sbe where she closely collaborated on projects with design icon Philippe Starck and celebrity chef José Andrés.

As Chief Creative Officer, Ashley leads the team in establishing creative direction for each scope, monitors process, and collaborates daily with the design team. She also is heavily involved with client relations and the overall brand identity for the studio.
