Our Studio

Avenue Interior Design is an award-winning studio specializing in boutique hospitality venues and bespoke residential interiors. Founded in 2009 by Andrea DeRosa and Ashley Justman, the firm has grown from its beginnings in Venice into a multidisciplinary team headquartered on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. Guided by the belief that every space should tell its own authentic story, the studio prioritizes originality over predetermined style, allowing each project to evolve naturally through the lens of clients’ narratives, the character of the architecture, and inspiration gathered from travels around the world. Andrea and Ashley’s early experiences with prestigious hospitality firms and visionary collaborators including Philippe Starck, Matthew Rolston, and MGM Resorts International established a foundation rooted in storytelling and design at the highest level, a foundation that continues to inform the team’s work across hospitality, commercial, multi family, and residential projects.

With a century-long family lineage in the Hollywood film industry shaping her creative foundation, Ashley’s career has always been rooted in storytelling at the highest level. While studying Interior Design at UCLA, she began her career at a boutique hospitality firm before joining sbe at a defining moment in its history. Collaborating with Philippe Starck and José Andrés, she helped launch sbe’s Beverly Hills flagship, reshaping modern hospitality. As Co-Founder of Avenue Interior Design, Ashley leads creative vision and cultivates partnerships with global brands including MGM Resorts International, Montage, and Four Seasons.

Andrea DeRosa

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an Interior Design degree, Andrea relocated to Los Angeles where she joined a notable design firm specializing in hotels and resorts. There she met Ashley Justman, with whom she shared entrepreneurial aspirations and design passion. Following additional experience at a prominent casino and hospitality design firm, Andrea co-founded Avenue Interior Design with Ashley in 2009, focusing on boutique hotels and restaurants. Within months, they secured pivotal projects that established their studio’s foundation. As Chief Executive Officer, Andrea oversees strategic planning, operational management, and public relations.
