Jennifer has had a long love affair with hotels beginning with a childhood stay at the grande dame Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. (The appearance of a mouse in the room did little to dampen her enthusiasm.) She received her undergraduate degree in Art History from Wellesley College and her J.D. from UCLA a few years later. As a commercial real estate lawyer, she developed an expertise in resort and golf properties, working on trophy properties across the U.S., including La Quinta Resort & Club, PGA West, the Grand Wailea Resort and the Arizona Biltmore. After realizing how much she loved the design aspect of hotels, she obtained her Professional Certificate from the UCLA Extension Architecture and Interior Design program and joined a nationally recognized hospitality boutique firm in Los Angeles, where she designed and project-managed hotel projects in the U.S. and Asia, including the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, Claremont Club & Spa (a Fairmont hotel), The Explorer’s Lodge at Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as cruise ship projects for Crystal Cruises and Disney Cruise Line. She manages talented design teams with a collaborative leadership style to deliver great design while meeting client budget and schedule goals. Jennifer is a LEED AP in commercial interiors. When not working, she can be found practicing Argentinian tango.
