Los Angeles native Ashley Manhan landed her first internship at 19 while receiving her Interior Design degree from UCLA. It was at this Santa Monica based boutique design firm where Ashley became immersed in the hospitality industry while working on properties for Fairmont Hotels and MGM Resorts International. Ashley went on to further her hospitality experience at a well-respected design firm with high profile clients including Kimpton Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, with whom she worked with on a St. Regis property in Central America. In 2007 Ashley joined hospitality pioneer SBE Entertainment. While at SBE, she collaborated with design icon Philippe Starck and celebrity photographer, Matthew Rolston to develop groundbreaking hotel brands like SLS and the Redbury. Ashley was also involved with the design of notable restaurants and bars including the Bazaar with celebrity chef, José Andrés, a Michael Mina restaurant in Hollywood, Katsuya LA Live and the Abbey in Los Angeles.
